What we do
One company for the whole sign
Most sign problems start in the handoffs between companies, so we removed the handoffs.
A typical commercial sign passes through a designer, a permit expediter, a fabricator, and an installation contractor. Each does their part and none owns the result, which is why so many projects stall at the permit and why, when a sign goes dark two winters later, the customer cannot work out who to call.
A full-service sign company does all four, and we do. The person who surveys your building works to the same drawing as the person who welds the returns and the crew who put it on the wall. When something needs deciding, one company decides it.

What does a full-service sign company do?
A full-service sign company handles the design, the permit, the fabrication, the installation, and the repair of a sign under one contract. We do all five with our own people, so our sign services and our custom signs come from the same team.
Do you offer in-house sign fabrication?
We offer in-house sign fabrication, with the drawings made in our drawing office and the signs built in our own shop. Our own crew installs them as well, so no part of a custom sign passes to a supplier.
Where are the SignFreaks offices?
We have three by-appointment sales offices, in Chicago, Oak Brook, and Burr Ridge. The addresses and hours are on the contact page, and the Burr Ridge page covers that village’s sign rules.
Which areas do you serve?
We serve the City of Chicago and more than 150 suburbs across Cook, DuPage, Lake, Kane, and Will counties. Each town has its own page on the areas served hub, because every village writes its own sign code.

Can you repair or remove a sign you did not build?
We repair and remove signs we did not build, as well as our own. Sign repair starts with a diagnosis before any quote, sign removal leaves the wall made good, and banner removal follows the same path.
